Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actress who has received critical recognition for her talent. Sagittarius. She was born on the coast of North Carolina December 3, 1960. She is oldest among three children, and was the daughter of Peter Moore Smith who was an Army paratrooper. Her mother Anne is a psychotherapist. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore was a struggle as her family was constantly relocated due to their dad's employment. Moore started acting in plays during her time at Frankfurt American High School when the family moved to Germany. Following the completion of the requirements for her B.F.A. at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her training. She graduated in 1983 with the degree of B.F.A. Moore's career began with her debut in New York with Off-Broadway Theater following her the completion of her studies. She made an appearance on stage in The Edge of Night. In 1986, she took on the role in the show of Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). It was her biggest breakthrough. In 1988, she was a part-time actor on the series and was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award. She made her film debut in 1990 when she starred in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she described later as an awful low-budget film. She was in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both produced by Robert Altman. The film was critically acclaimed and Moore won multiple nominations. Moore landed her first lead role on the screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular films released that year. The film she starred in was Magnolia (1999) that was praised by critics and was awarded a SAG nomination for her part. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman as well as Meryl Streep. Moore's other movies are The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006. Shelter (2010), and many more. Non-Stop was her film from 2014. Moore has been on numerous films and television shows. She has a starring role in the most recent one, which is When You Finish Saving the World (2022). The actress has established herself as a star in Hollywood and is also an author for children. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and became an N.Y.T. Bestseller. It was later adapted into series and a music. Her 2013 book, My Mom is a Foreigner also became a top-selling. As a well-achieved actor and writer, Moore's private life is public domain. In 1984 she married John Robin and in 1995 they separated. Moore has two children with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore's life revolves around her friends, career and family.
